If you think that South Africa is not without its fair share of political woes, be thankful that we don’t have to deal with Donald Trump. At least the private legal insurance South Africa has to offer doesn’t have to face a violence-peddling presidential candidate.
Call them crazy, but people haven’t all been responding favourably to Donald Trump’s racist ideas – like building a giant wall to keep the Mexicans out of America and ridding the country off all its Muslims. As a result, they have found an outlet that seems to represent their frustrations quite well, which is hurling tomatoes at the world’s most intricate comb-over.
Strangely enough, though, Donald Trump doesn’t like having tomatoes hurled at his face, and has thus decided to use his hate-filled supporters to fight back. At a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at the beginning of the year, Trump encouraged his loyal supporters to ‘knock the crap’ out of anyone who throws a tomato, promising to pick up the legal fees.
No Need for Private Legal Insurance Quotes When You’ve Got Trump
It would appear that one particular supporter (who we’re guessing doesn’t’ have private legal insurance) took him at his word. At the beginning of March an African American named Rakeem Jones went with a small group of Trump protesters to a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The group had intended to verbally protest Trump’s campaign, but their shouting was drowned out by the noise of the crowd. Then, out of nowhere, the crowd turned on Jones and started hurling racial slurs at him.
Officers from the Sherriff’s department immediately surrounded him and started escorting him from the venue. Then, as he was being led up the stairs, a man by the name of John McGraw punched him in the face, to the delight of the crowd.
Will Trump Cover McGraw’s Legal Fees?
Trump has been asked whether he will pay to defend McGraw, and has replied that he is considering it. The New York Times has suggested that Trump’s legal team will look into it.
This sort of behaviour has been criticised by many as condoning violence and inciting riots. But these critics had better make sure that they get some good private legal insurance quotes before publicly declaring their feelings, at it appears that Trump is on the war path. All we can say is that it’s a good thing that the private legal insurance South Africa boasts doesn’t have to worry about defending people beaten to a pulp for throwing tomatoes.
